I’m a long time Windows user (since DOS days) who finally, absolutely lost it a couple weeks ago when Vista decided that it no longer wanted to install programs for me anymore. Instead of spending yet another thankless evening crawling through badly worded forum posts and obscure help pages, or, reinstalling from scratch I decided to use Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex and regulate Vista to a tiny partition for gaming purposes only.
These are my trials and tribulations…
